This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Diagnose prior to development: Assess customer requirements and program objectives to uncover the core issue, rather than merely the stated request, and create solutions that align with mission goals.
β’ Architect across the entire stack: Design comprehensive solutions β from data modeling to API and UI β that are scalable, maintainable, and fit the constraints of large, complex government programs.
β’ Utilize agentic AI as a force multiplier: Employ advanced agentic AI tools to rapidly prototype, extend, and integrate new functionalities into existing code bases, significantly reducing the gap between concept and operational system.
β’ Address high-impact, ambiguous challenges: Make swift, impactful contributions to strategically important projects, often engaging with programs that have incomplete requirements and shaping them into a coherent technical strategy.
β’ Bridge communication gaps: Work collaboratively with development teams, stakeholders, and technical leads to identify pain points in current systems, propose innovative solutions, and build consensus around the appropriate architecture.
β’ Navigate fluidly across programs: Transition effortlessly between initiatives, applying technical and design judgment to prioritize the most impactful projects.
β’ Complete the integration cycle: Facilitate integrations, tackle technical challenges, and adhere to development schedules within multidisciplinary teams.
β’ Build with the mission in mind, not just the ticket: Ensure adherence to security protocols, government standards, and industry best practices across all projects.
β’ Enhance your impact through documentation: Document technical solutions, design rationale, and architectural decisions to facilitate knowledge transfer between teams and programs.
β’ Validate the design, not merely the code: Conduct thorough testing to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of updated or newly designed systems.
β’ Active Secret clearance
β’ 3β5 years of experience with full-stack development in a production environment.
β’ Demonstrated solutions-oriented mindset: Proven experience in transforming ambiguous requirements into a technical design or architecture, rather than just executing predefined tickets.
β’ Experience with agentic AI coding tools: Demonstrated expertise in using tools to enhance existing code stacks at scale.
β’ Proven full-stack development background: At least 3β5 years of experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing front-end and back-end systems.
β’ Proficient in at least one back-end language (Python preferred) and one front-end framework/tool (TypeScript preferred).
β’ Experience in designing and utilizing RESTful APIs for system integration.
β’ Strong foundational knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB).
β’ Comfortable working in agile environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
β’ Proficiency in version control: Git (GitLab preferred).
β’ Experience with testing, security, DevSecOps, and CI/CD processes.
β’ Strong communication and persuasive skills: Capable of presenting a technical solution to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders and justifying the "why" behind an architecture, not just the "how."
