This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Take ownership and deliver robust, high-scale routing solutions for the Data platform/pipelines team at Twilio Segment.

• Design and manage always-available, intricate distributed systems within cloud environments.

• Steer technical decisions by clearly articulating the trade-offs among cost, performance, and reliability.

• Convert complex technical strategies into actionable plans tailored for various stakeholders, including Product Managers and Architects.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Practical experience with high-scale messaging/streaming systems and processing engines capable of handling several thousand events per second.

• Strong skills in high-level service design, including modeling interfaces and internals in a modular, composable, and extensible manner.

• Proficient programming experience in Go or other similar object-oriented languages.

• Proven experience in identifying, prototyping, and deploying GenAI/LLM solutions to tackle real-world engineering or data processing issues.

• Technical expertise in distributed systems, high-scale data ingestion, and cloud-native architecture.
