Principal Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement motion planning and prediction initiatives that enhance the ability of our self-driving vehicles to navigate complex traffic scenarios safely, comfortably, and legally.

• Design and oversee the execution of behavior models that utilize cutting-edge advancements in machine learning, generative AI, and reinforcement learning.

• Bring solutions into production and deploy them onto fleets of autonomous vehicles.

• Work in collaboration with teams focused on perception, simulation, data platforms, and integration to validate and improve the on-road performance of your products.

• Present strategies, updates, and challenges to executive leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline; or equivalent experience in the industry.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in executing large-scale, intricate technical projects.

• Proficient in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

• Strong command of Python, including essential scientific computing libraries.

• Established history of designing, developing, and deploying machine learning solutions for autonomous vehicles or robotics.

• In-depth understanding of software engineering principles, including software design, source control management, build processes, code reviews, and testing methodologies.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
