• Lead the engineering team for Enterprise Applications, encompassing Salesforce Development, DevOps, and Quality Engineering.
• Cultivate a high-performing engineering culture that emphasizes quality, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop engineers, promoting their technical skills and career growth.
• Engage in hiring processes, succession planning, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee engineering capacity and resource distribution across multiple initiatives.
• Act as the technical leader for the Enterprise Applications division.
• Contribute to architecture reviews, design discussions, code evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and complex technical implementations.
• Address challenging technical problems and eliminate delivery obstacles.
• Direct the technical strategy and engineering best practices for Salesforce and DealCloud implementations, customizations, and platform extensions.
• Advocate for AI-assisted software development, engineering automation, and contemporary development practices.
• Formulate and implement the engineering strategy for the Enterprise Applications portfolio.
• Set engineering standards, architecture patterns, coding guidelines, and development best practices.
• Lead technical design evaluations and architectural decision-making processes.
• Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and in alignment with enterprise architecture.
• Assess and recommend technologies that enhance platform capabilities, developer productivity, and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product Specialists during the discovery and solution design phases.
• Transform business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for intricate initiatives and cross-functional programs.
• Ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives across Salesforce, DealCloud, and the broader Enterprise Applications ecosystem.
• Manage the production support model for the Enterprise Applications platform.
• Develop and enhance incident management, triage, escalation processes, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Conduct root cause analysis, problem management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Guarantee operational excellence through monitoring, observability, automation, and proactive platform health management.
• Propel the modernization of enterprise platforms and applications.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and discover opportunities for enhancing the technology landscape.
• Lead proof-of-concepts and innovation projects.
• Create reusable frameworks and shared capabilities.
• Establish modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, DevSecOps, observability, and release management.
• Enhance engineering metrics, code quality, deployment frequency, and operational reliability.
• Promote reusable frameworks, shared services, engineering standards, and technical governance across teams.
• Lead with technical expertise, influence, and effective execution.
• Be acknowledged as the senior technical leader within the Enterprise Applications organization.
• Allocate a significant portion of your time to resolving technical challenges, rather than solely managing personnel.
• Mentor engineers through active involvement in architecture, design, and implementation processes.
