This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.
• Lead the sales execution of Medtronic’s HealthCast portfolio within the designated region.
• Foster growth by recognizing customer requirements, generating leads, building a pipeline, and finalizing sales.
• Collaborate closely with monitoring sales representatives to enhance presence in both existing and competitive accounts.
• Provide strategic insights and customer intelligence to inform and support the evolving HealthCast strategy.
• Take charge of proactive lead generation, outreach to prospects, and appointment scheduling efforts to create sales opportunities.
• Surpass the financial goals set for the assigned zone in HealthCast.
• Formulate and implement the sales strategy for the zone through targeted accounts and profiling.
• Grasp key customer purchasing motivations and business objectives to instill a sense of urgency.
• Cultivate essential customer relationships with various stakeholders.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience OR Associate’s Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience in sales, clinical roles, or related fields within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic selling or related software/informatics sales within the acute hospital care setting.
• Familiarity with contemporary software development methodologies, focusing on software and hardware architecture, infrastructure design, development, and wireless technologies.
• Strong technical project management capabilities and documentation skills.
• Preference for candidates with a background in EMR/EHR and/or medical device connectivity.
• Proven ability to comprehend the technical and social landscape of hospitals and influence both IT and clinical domains.
• Demonstrated success in driving results within complex, cross-functional environments.
• Proven capability to manage multiple, intricate projects simultaneously.
• Comprehensive understanding of commercial sales structures and processes.
• Management experience is preferred, with a proven track record in change leadership and coaching.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a high capacity for learning in a fast-paced environment.
