Principal Developer, TeamcenterX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the technical architecture for customizations, integrations, and extensions of Teamcenter X across server-side, AWC, and integration layers.

• Spearhead the design, development, and unit testing of server-side customizations for Teamcenter X.

• Lead the transition from Aras to Teamcenter X.

• Establish technical standards, guide architectural decisions, and ensure both supportability and validation.

• Design and evaluate codeful BMIDE extensions for Teamcenter X.

• Direct the customization strategy for the Active Workspace Client (AWC).

• Define patterns for workflow handlers and EPM handlers that support engineering changes.

• Architect integrations between Teamcenter X and both downstream and upstream systems.

• Set standards for technical design specifications and documentation that supports validation.

• Manage the configuration strategy for Teamcenter customization assets.

• Act as the primary point of escalation for technical issues related to production incidents in Teamcenter.

• Mentor both senior and junior developers while leading technical reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

• At least 7 years of practical experience in Siemens Teamcenter development.

• 5+ years of experience with AWC customization.

• Significant experience with codeful BMIDE customization.

• Proven experience leading customization efforts for the Active Workspace Client (AWC).

• Background in establishing technical standards and mentoring senior engineers.

• Experience working within regulated environments (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, ISO 9001) is essential.

• Siemens Teamcenter X certifications (ITK, BMIDE, AWC) are preferred.
