This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Provide strategic and technical data consultancy throughout the entire data lifecycle.
• Develop and ensure solutions that encompass data strategy, governance, operating models, cloud platforms, integration, migration, analytics, and AI.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to comprehend challenges, pinpoint opportunities, and deliver customized data solutions.
• Design and supervise technical architectures that align with client goals, industry standards, and best practices.
• Establish and maintain principles, frameworks, and standards for secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions.
• Convert client needs into target architectures, actionable roadmaps, and validated solution designs.
• Lead project delivery from the discovery phase to production by organizing project teams, allocating resources, and overseeing progress.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and development for project teams and enhance organizational capability.
• Assist in pre-sales activities, including scoping, estimation, proposals, and presentations.
• Recognize opportunities to extend client engagements.
• Implement relevant emerging technologies and methodologies in client solutions.
• Ensure excellence in delivery, adherence to quality standards, governance requirements, and measurable business outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business challenges and create effective, innovative data architectures and solutions.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience in guiding project teams, mentoring peers, and developing skills.
• Exceptional communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate trusted client relationships.
• Commercial awareness across various clients and sectors.

• Experience in designing cloud data platforms on Azure or AWS, or substantial on-premise design experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or related fields.
• Extensive experience in ETL and data pipeline design.
• Proficient in cloud and data technologies such as Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Function Apps, Azure Synapse Analytics, AWS Glue, AWS S3, AWS Lambda Functions, AWS Redshift, Databricks, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Alteryx, SSIS, or Informatica.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse and data lake principles.
• Experience in data modeling using Kimball, Inmon, or Data Vault methodologies.
• Familiarity with relational database platforms.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Exposure to Python, R, or Spark.
• Understanding of AI and ML methodologies and their applications in data solutions.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Background in leading or mentoring junior data engineers, BI developers, or consultants.
• Experience as a technical lead utilizing Agile or DevOps methodologies, including peer reviews and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps.
