Principal Data Link, Communications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Look for candidates for the position of Principal Data Links & Communication Engineer

• Requires expertise in Link 22 and tactical data links engineering

• Provide guidance and support to the program Chief Engineer, IPT Leads, and PMs regarding performance, scheduling, and cost-related matters

• Offer knowledge and expertise in the development, integration, testing, and deployment of Air Force systems along with their associated data links

• Collaborate with the Federal, DoD, USAF, USA, and Joint communities to ensure compliance with data link communication capabilities

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in software design and requirements development

• Strong proficiency in C++ and Java programming languages, as well as development frameworks

• Expertise in MBSE modeling, languages, and tools (DODAF, SysML, UML, Cameo)

• Experience with networking and embedded mission systems

• Knowledge of government acquisition planning, tailoring, and documentation (Acquisition Strategy Plan, Statement of Work, System Engineering Plan, User Agreements, Product Roadmap)

• Must be a US citizen

• Active Top-Secret Security Clearance
