This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert in contracting methodologies and supplier/subcontractor terms and conditions.

• Oversee the creation and implementation of contract templates for supplier and subcontractor agreements.

• Provide guidance on supplier and subcontractor terms and conditions related to supply chain operations.

• Lead negotiations on terms and conditions, particularly for intricate or high-risk scopes of work.

• Assist in the preparation and negotiation of NDAs, licensing agreements, teaming agreements, and master services/frame agreements.

• Advise supply chain personnel on company governance and procedural standards.

• Conduct final reviews of contract documents for Purchase Order execution and provide guidance on concerns and necessary approvals.

• Collaborate with supply chain, Legal, and business teams on procurement terms and conditions while representing Procurement Contracts during management meetings.

• Aid in the development of customer proposals involving supply chain considerations.

• Examine customer contract requirements and formulate commercial strategies/responses.

• Relay applicable customer contract requirements to suppliers and subcontractors.

• Evaluate contract trends and lessons learned, offering feedback to Legal & Compliance.

• Implement revisions to assigned contract terms and conditions templates.

• Report directly to the Manager of Procurement Contracts in Legal & Compliance.

• Travel to facilitate contract negotiations or meetings with Westinghouse partners.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• More than 5 years of experience in contract analysis, management, terms and conditions, project/risk management, engineering, and commercial procurement disciplines.

• Familiarity with commercial practices.

• Understanding of risk assessment and mitigation principles.

• Knowledge of contracting frameworks and legal/contract terms and conditions.

• Awareness of corporate/legal and compliance policies and directives.

• Preferred experience in procurement project management.

• Contract negotiation experience in the power market is preferred.

• Willingness to travel 10% of the time to support contract negotiations or meetings.

• Applicants must comply with applicable United States and country export control regulations.
