This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Manage end-to-end SPM implementations following sales, encompassing discovery, maturity assessment, portfolio design, rollout, and adoption.
• Develop demand intake processes, capacity planning, prioritization, and governance cadence.
• Provide guidance to PMO and portfolio leaders regarding organizational maturity and SPM transformation initiatives.
• Convert legacy processes from tools like Clarity and Planview into modular experiences based on Tempo.
• Occasionally assist in pre-sales activities for competitive displacement opportunities.
• Create the SPM implementation playbook, maturity model, and reference architectures for Tempo.
• Facilitate enablement for Customer Success, sales teams, and partners.
• Offer field learning insights and product feedback to the product teams.
• Build the case for hiring and subsequently recruit and lead a small practice team.
• Establish a consistent methodology and implementation standards delivered by partners.
• Extensive experience in SPM implementation, including multiple projects involving Planview, Clarity, Jira Align, ServiceNow SPM, Targetprocess, or similar tools.
• Experience may be gained from a vendor, consultancy, enterprise PMO, or Atlassian Solution Partner environment.
• Proficient in demand management, capacity and scenario planning, investment funding, benefits realization, and Lean Portfolio Management.
• Knowledge of maturity stages in project, portfolio, and strategic management.
• Established credibility with PMO directors and portfolio leaders.
• Capability to challenge executives when necessary.
• Competence to independently manage SPM implementations.
• Certifications such as SPC, PfMP, PMP, or CIS-SPM are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience with the Atlassian ecosystem is a plus.
• Previous experience in practice-building is preferred.
