Principal Consultant – Financial Services Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete solution architecture for Financial Services Cloud implementations and digital transformation projects.

• Act as a strategic advisor to client stakeholders, including executive leaders, business sponsors, operations managers, and technology teams.

• Conduct discovery workshops to grasp business objectives, customer journeys, operational issues, compliance needs, and future-state requirements.

• Create scalable solution designs, architecture diagrams, data models, and implementation roadmaps that are in line with Salesforce and industry best practices.

• Design Financial Services Cloud solutions that facilitate client onboarding, household management, financial accounts, referrals, relationship management, service operations, sales processes, and client engagement strategies.

• Establish enterprise data architecture, governance frameworks, security models, compliance controls, and integration strategies across Salesforce and external platforms.

• Develop solutions that comply with regulatory and compliance requirements, including privacy, security, audit-ability, and data retention standards.

• Lead the strategy and planning for data migration, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy CRM, banking, insurance, wealth management, or service platforms.

• Provide architectural oversight throughout the project lifecycle, including design reviews, configuration guidance, testing strategies, deployment planning, and post-production optimization.

• Collaborate with technical architects, developers, business analysts, and project managers to guarantee solution alignment and delivery excellence.

• Promote the adoption of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Financial Services Cloud, Flow, OmniStudio, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, and other relevant Salesforce technologies.

• Assist with pre-sales activities such as solution estimation, proposal development, architecture reviews, executive presentations, and pursuit strategies.

• Mentor consultants and solution engineers while fostering architectural standards, delivery methodologies, and best practices within the Salesforce Practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field.

• Over 7 years of experience with the Salesforce platform.

• More than 3 years in a role as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Lead Consultant, or other equivalent leadership position.

• Extensive knowledge of Financial Services Cloud and financial services business processes.

• Strong comprehension of Financial Services Cloud data architecture, including households, relationships, financial accounts, referrals, goals, interactions, and customer lifecycle management.

• Experience in designing enterprise-level Salesforce solutions that involve multiple clouds, integrations, and complex data migrations.

• Background in working with banking, insurance, lending, wealth management, capital markets, or other financial services sectors.

• Good understanding of security, compliance, governance, and regulatory considerations within financial services environments.

• Proven history of developing enterprise data models, security architectures, and integration frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Financial Services Cloud, Flow, OmniStudio, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud.

• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and consulting abilities.

• Capability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and strategic roadmaps.
