Project Finance Systems Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Oversee FreshWorks support tickets submitted by employees and ensure resolution within the 48-hour service level agreement (SLA).

• Handle user support inquiries, offering training and guidance on finance system processes, reports, and functionalities.

• Provide support for Workday and OneStream administration, configuration, and enhancements to business processes aimed at improving operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.

• Analyze, document, and maintain comprehensive data flows across Finance, HR, Operations, and IT systems to ensure data integrity and consistency.

• Conduct data mapping and integration validation for system upgrades, process enhancements, and reporting requirements.

• Assist in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and application upgrades.

• Create report specifications by identifying data relationships, source systems, and reporting needs within Workday and OneStream.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to data flow, integration, and reporting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and define business requirements.

• Support month-end closing processes by troubleshooting system-related issues and validating financial data across integrated platforms.

• Contribute to governance, documentation, and process standardization initiatives across finance systems and reporting environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or its international equivalent from an accredited institution in accounting, finance, or Information Technology.

• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally within a service organization, with a preference for direct experience in the Clinical Research sector.

• Experience in Workday financials administration and configuration.

• Proficiency in creating and analyzing reports using Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with integrated program management systems.

• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Practical experience working with Workday.
