This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Leverage consulting and technical expertise to work independently in a client-facing project environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project delivery.
• Communicate effectively with both internal teams and client or partner teams directly.
• Take full ownership of your execution on client engagements, involving yourself in project planning and solution development stages.
• Edit, write, and troubleshoot complex data calculations.
• Design and produce precise and sophisticated analytics dashboards (PowerBI) that fulfill client requirements while maintaining logic and integrity.
• Develop wireframes and/or prototypes for use cases using tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, etc.
• Implement data governance practices that enhance data quality.
• Analyze data trends and assist in data transformation preparations.
• Collaborate with engagement leads and directors to gain insights into solution design and architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in a Business Intelligence/Analytics role, with at least 2 years of direct interaction with clients and/or external stakeholders.
• Proficient in developing semantic layer/reporting layer/gold layer data sources for analytics applications using tools such as SQL, SSIS, PowerQuery, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, and Knime.
• Experience in creating actionable analytics with Power BI.
• Preferred programming experience in Python for data analysis, automation, or visualization.
• Familiarity with IBM Cognos Analytics is advantageous.
• Ability to troubleshoot and conduct QA on analytical dashboards to ensure they meet specifications and maintain logical consistency.
• Exposure to Databricks is a plus.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Lovelytics tools and client tools is beneficial.
