Principal Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate, multi-disciplinary projects and act as a trusted subject matter expert.

• Spearhead discipline-specific design initiatives, enhance project quality, and guarantee high-performance outcomes.

• Record client-specific processes and any deviations from established standards to ensure consistent delivery.

• Advocate for best practices and assist in the enhancement of tools and workflows.

• Build and maintain robust client relationships through effective communication and dependable execution.

• Guide engineers and production team members by providing technical mentorship and constructive feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical), Architecture, or a related discipline; or equivalent technical experience.

• Experience: 8+ years in AEC or related professional services with a strong capability in specific disciplines (ICT, Security, Physical Security, Electronic Security).

• Proven track record of delivering coordinated, high-quality designs and making informed decisions within your area of expertise.

• Capability to manage discipline-specific segments of complex, multi-stakeholder projects with minimal supervision.

• Robust understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and coordination necessities.

• Experience in contributing to documentation revisions, design standards, and QA/QC workflows utilizing GitHub or similar platforms.

• Proficiency in Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit), Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365 Suite, Google Workspace, and GitHub.

• Preferred industry certifications by discipline: PSP and/or CPP (Security) — preferred; CDT — preferred; EIT — beneficial; PE — beneficial; PMP — beneficial.
