Principal Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage with clients to gain an understanding of their business objectives, infrastructure challenges, and technological needs.

• Conduct workshops, interviews, and assessments to capture insights regarding client requirements and pain points.

• Convert client specifications into actionable recommendations and solution proposals that adhere to best practices and industry standards.

• Work collaboratively with solution architects and technical leads to craft scalable, resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.

• Create architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.

• Assess technology alternatives and suggest appropriate platforms, services, and deployment models.

• Facilitate the implementation and deployment of digital infrastructure solutions alongside engineering teams and third-party vendors.

• Set up and launch cloud environments, virtual networks, and infrastructure components.

• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure functionality, performance, and security.

• Assist project managers in planning, scheduling, and tracking project activities, milestones, and deliverables.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues.

• Communicate project status, updates, and dependencies to stakeholders.

• Provide mentorship to team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in infrastructure consulting, cloud computing, or network engineering positions.

• Relevant certifications are required.

• Strong ethical standards and critical thinking abilities.

• Excellent sales and customer service skills.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proven time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.

• Strong supervisory and leadership capabilities.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary.

• Capability to perform well in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

• Experience in infrastructure automation, scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell, and configuration management tools like Terraform and Ansible.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Ability to interact effectively with both clients and internal stakeholders.

• Must be able to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally.
