Principal Consultant – Advisory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate workshops focused on strategy, roadmap, design, and planning.

• Establish and manage customer expectations effectively.

• Lead technical project teams that provide consulting services.

• Oversee objectives, requirements gathering, project tasks, milestones, status, dependencies, and timelines.

• Ensure that engagements are successfully delivered on schedule and aligned with business goals.

• Analyze complex problems and define appropriate project approaches.

• Conduct final edits and approve project deliverables.

• Present deliverables to executive management of clients.

• Assist in business development efforts through client discovery sessions.

• Represent service offerings during sales processes, including scoping, proposal creation, and presentations.

• Build customer relationships and present technical solutions to C-level executives.

• Innovate and enhance AHEAD Advisory's consulting and deployment services.

• Serve as a thought leader and advocate for technology.

• Stay informed about current and future IT trends, technologies, and standards.

• Mentor team members effectively.

• Manage client engagements and act as a point of contact between clients and delivery teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive consulting experience at a senior level.

• At least 15 years of experience as a senior IT leader overseeing transformative modernization efforts, including cloud adoption, automation, platform engineering, or agile-at-scale implementation.

• Strong comprehension of business measurement frameworks, such as OKRs.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle principles.

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in executive technology consulting.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven business acumen.

• Capability to tackle complex, abstract problems.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse personalities.

• Executive presence.

• Proven track record as a technology change agent.
