Principal Cloud Network Architect – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Assist in a large-scale network and infrastructure consolidation initiative.

• Establish the definitive target-state hybrid cloud routing architecture.

• Provide production-ready blueprints to the core engineering team.

• Assess and define the target-state AWS multi-account routing framework.

• Design the hybrid interconnect architecture.

• Specify the cloud-native security perimeter and identity access management.

• Standardize routing boundaries for e-commerce and voice workloads.

• Lead strategic Cloud FinOps and architectural economics initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or architecture.

• 5+ years focused on AWS-native networking solutions.

• Proficiency in AWS Cloud WAN, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and VPC Lattice.

• Fluency in Hybrid BGP.

• Knowledge of AWS-native security perimeters, including AWS WAF and Shield Advanced.

• Experience with cross-region AWS Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.

• Background in M&A cloud consolidation.
