Principal Cloud Network Architect – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in a comprehensive network and infrastructure consolidation initiative following acquisitions

• Design the global cloud transit backbone architecture

• Create the hybrid interconnect fabric spanning both physical and cloud environments

• Establish the cloud-native security perimeter along with identity access management

• Standardize cloud routing boundaries for e-commerce and voice services

• Provide a transition blueprint that includes Infrastructure-as-Code migration templates

• Lead the development of strategic Cloud FinOps and architectural economics

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure and architecture

• More than 5 years specializing in AWS-native networking

• Advanced proficiency in AWS networking

• Strong understanding of "Hybrid BGP Fluency" (AS-PATH, MED, Local Pref)

• Extensive knowledge of AWS-native security perimeters

• Proven experience in designing cross-region AWS Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures

• Comprehensive understanding of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation

• Experience with cloud consolidation during mergers and acquisitions
