Principal Audio DSP/ML Engineer – Audio Technology

• Design and create algorithms for audio signal processing and machine learning tailored for speech and audio applications.

• Implement contemporary ML/deep learning techniques alongside traditional DSP methods for audio and time-series data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Practical experience with machine learning applied to audio or time-series data.

• Strong foundation in digital signal processing, covering aspects such as sampling, filtering, FFTs, and spectral analysis.

• Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB for research and prototyping tasks.

• Comprehensive understanding of audio systems and acoustics.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Extensive practical knowledge of applied ML frameworks such as PyTorch/ONNX and/or TensorFlow/TFLite.

• Experience in audio DSP using Python, MATLAB, and/or C/C++.

• Familiarity with speech or audio ML tasks, including audio source separation, speech enhancement, echo reduction, and microphone array signal processing.

• Strong software engineering practices, including debugging, profiling, and version control.

• Proficiency in C and/or C++ for performance-critical applications.

• Publications, patents, or proven innovation in DSP or ML.
