This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage and ensure the optimal performance and functionality of the HRIS environment.
• Propose and execute HRIS strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and maintain data integrity.
• Act as a thought leader by making recommendations for functional solutions aimed at optimizing system usage and simplifying processes.
• Work closely with stakeholders to evaluate business requirements, prioritize system upgrades that support HR initiatives, and coordinate with vendors for effective implementation and issue resolution. Produce business analysis documentation.
• Collaborate and build a strong relationship with IT, Finance, and Payroll to ensure robust governance of a unified system. Develop a roadmap for adopting new features in product releases.
• Lead intricate HRIS modifications, including enterprise redesigns, acquisitions, significant configuration changes, and regulatory impacts.
• Establish functional testing strategies (unit, end-to-end, regression, UAT) and ensure readiness for production.
• Oversee data integrations between HRIS and associated systems (payroll, benefits vendors, finance, identity management, reporting platforms).
• Define and uphold HR data standards, governance models, and data quality controls.
• Collaborate closely with IT on interface design, middleware strategies, testing protocols, and production governance.
• Promote the adoption and utilization of solutions, changes, and new launches.
• Conduct research to stay updated on current HR technology trends to lead and influence with industry best practices, proven methodologies, scalability, and automation in support of company growth.
• Provide a structured management approach to solutions and leadership for multi-functional project teams.
• Evaluate the need for system reconfigurations and carry them out as necessary.
• Investigate and implement new open-source and commercial tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in managing HRIS/ERP systems and delivering strategic solutions.
• Strong technical expertise with the capability to design and implement complex systems.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Capacity to drive initiatives and influence organizational outcomes through technology.
• Proven experience handling confidential HR data while maintaining high standards of integrity and compliance with data privacy.
• Skilled in generating and interpreting HR and operational reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, and HRIS-specific reporting functionalities.
• Proficient in system configuration and updates, applying business requirements to enhance functionality and improve user experience. Create business analysis documentation.
• Experience in system testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression, and upgrade validation; capable of documenting findings and independently recommending solutions.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills for issue identification and corrective action recommendations.
• Possess extensive knowledge of multiple core HR modules within an HRIS.
• A bachelor's degree in IT, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience supporting complex HR systems in a multi-state and multi-entity environment.
• At least 3 years of experience in the implementation, management, and/or maintenance of business systems, including a SaaS HCM solution.
• Oracle Cloud implementation certification from Oracle University is strongly preferred.
