Principal AI Search – Conversation Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead the design and architecture of a cutting-edge conversational AI platform that replaces conventional search with intelligent dialogue.

• Develop the AI orchestration layer that integrates large language models, specialized agents, retrieval systems, recommendation engines, and external APIs.

• Create systems that comprehend user intent, identify necessary information, access real-time data, reason through options, rank suggestions, and produce conversational responses.

• Collect and prioritize information from ticketing, hotel, airline, restaurant, transportation, mapping, weather, and various third-party sources.

• Design AI-driven systems for multi-step planning, conversational context management, tool execution, result ranking, and dynamic recommendations.

• Establish the technical vision and set architectural standards.

• Assess emerging AI technologies and make strategic long-term decisions regarding LLM strategy, retrieval architecture, agent design, memory management, semantic search, vector databases, knowledge graphs, and AI evaluation frameworks.

• Guide and mentor senior engineers, architects, and principal engineers.

• Work in collaboration with Principal Architects on backend infrastructure, payments, blockchain, messaging, mini-programs, and platform services.

• Guarantee scalability, reliability, performance, and user experience throughout the OleOle football ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record in architecting and delivering production-scale AI platforms utilized by a large user base.

• Demonstrated leadership experience as a Principal Engineer, Chief Architect, Distinguished Engineer, or an equivalent senior technical position.

• Extensive knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, multi-agent systems, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search, and current AI orchestration frameworks.

• Strong grasp of recommendation engines, ranking algorithms, personalization, and conversational AI technologies.

• Significant experience in designing distributed, cloud-native systems that operate on a global scale with high availability and low latency.

• Practical experience with integrating complex third-party APIs and consolidating multiple real-time data sources into a cohesive user experience.

• Exceptional architectural judgment and skill in simplifying complex technical challenges into scalable, maintainable solutions.

• Proven ability to lead senior engineering teams, mentor architects and principal engineers, set engineering standards, and make long-term technical decisions.

• Excellent communication skills across engineering, product, and executive leadership teams.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for creating category-defining products.

• A history of delivering ambitious, innovative products.

• Ability to adapt to a diverse range of challenges and technologies.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, changing priorities, and the growth of an early-stage company.

• A solid understanding of football and international sports is highly advantageous.

• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, open-source language models, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, DSPy, vector databases, graph databases, and modern AI infrastructure is highly preferred.
