Principal Agentic Technologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Lead the "Agentic Story" initiative in Japan: Collaborate with talented, like-minded professionals to develop and refine technical assets that demonstrate how SailPoint empowers organizations to confidently create and manage AI agents on a large scale.

• Drive Technical Success: As the most senior technologist in Japan, you will lead the technical strategy for our most significant engagements.

• Field Evangelism & Thought Leadership: Serve as the leading Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Agentic AI in the region.

• Strategic Partner Enablement: Collaborate closely with local partners to expand the reach of our products.

• Influence the Future: Work in partnership with Product Management and executive leadership to provide essential feedback from the field.

• Masterful Solution Design: Act as a trusted advisor to customers, assisting them in designing secure, forward-thinking identity architectures that align with their strategic business objectives in the AI era.

⛳️ Requirements

• Business-Level Japanese Fluency: Native or equivalent proficiency in Japanese is essential for effective engagement with customers, partners, and local leadership.

• Hands-on Agentic AI Proficiency: Extensive, practical experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.

• Cloud AI Platform Expertise: Proven experience with major cloud AI platforms like AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or Azure OpenAI.

• Identity & Access Management (IAM) Foundations: A robust and thorough understanding of IGA/IAM principles, including Just-in-Time (JIT) access, least privilege, and lifecycle management.

• Non-Human Identity Expertise: Knowledge of securing service accounts, API keys, and machine identities (e.g., SPIFFE/SPIRE, workload identity).

• Advanced Development/Scripting Skills: High proficiency in Python (strongly preferred for AI/ML work) and/or Java/JavaScript, with the capability to create custom demo integrations and automation scripts for proofs of concept.

• Strategic & Technical Communication: The unique ability to articulate "the why" to a CISO, convey "the value" to a CDO, and delve into "the how" for a Lead Architect or developer.
