This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with clients.
• Assess and address mental health disorders.
• Develop and revise personalized treatment plans.
• Conduct regular meetings with patients and modify treatment plans as required.
• Organize and coordinate services for individual clients.
• Perform continuous evaluations of patient progress.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions in accordance with the program schedule.
• Engage and provide guidance to family members when suitable.
• Refer clients to external specialists or agencies as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive records of patient sessions and progress.
• Adhere to safety protocols and uphold client confidentiality.
• Collaborate with outpatient providers to guarantee continuity of care.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings to discuss individual cases.
• Join weekly treatment team meetings to review client progress.
• Design weekly individualized therapeutic and experiential opportunities.
• Conduct concurrent insurance evaluations for individual clients.
• Engage in advocacy for mental health parity.
• Participate in community speaking events to promote awareness of eating disorders.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Record both direct and administrative hours in line with company timekeeping and documentation policies.
• A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Must possess a full license and be capable of working independently.
• Ability to obtain licensure in other states if required.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience in treating clients with Eating Disorders.
• Knowledge of models and theories related to eating disorders, trauma, mental illness, and associated issues.
• Familiarity with treatment, recovery, relapse prevention, and continuing care models for dually diagnosed populations.
• Understanding of diagnostic criteria for co-occurring conditions and the ability to conceptualize modalities and placement criteria within the care continuum.
• Awareness of diverse cultures and gender-specific issues.
• Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities.
• Skill in prioritizing tasks and working independently.
• Must not have opted out of Medicare.
• Reliable internet access is necessary.
• Proficient in using a computer and smartphone, with experience navigating macOS and iOS applications.
• Comfortable communicating through chat, phone, and video calls.
• Ability to sit for the majority of the work shift.
• Must work from a private, quiet home office with minimal background noise.
• Availability should include weekends and holidays as required.
• Position allows for remote work from home.
• Provides remote clinical services via a telehealth platform.
