This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead a Primary Care Regional Sales Team in Northern UK.

• Implement regional strategy through Operational Excellence.

• Allocate promotional budgets to achieve sales goals and meet National Sales Manager objectives.

• Mobilize, inspire, develop, recruit, and retain Primary Care Account Specialists.

• Meet sales targets, activity metrics, customer management objectives, and Operational Excellence criteria.

• Provide necessary coaching and conduct salesforce days in the field.

• Enhance team performance by promoting AbbVie behavioral attributes and culture.

• Apply multichannel account-management principles effectively.

• Supply high-quality customer insights to guide national strategy.

• Create and implement local sales solutions and strategies to enhance promoted product sales.

• Oversee regional data analysis, administration, planning, and budgeting.

• Develop and execute the regional implementation strategy and business plan.

• Collaborate with Regional Secondary Care teams, cross-functional in-field leadership, Brand, Market Access, and Medical teams.

• Execute and monitor marketing strategies and promotional initiatives.

• Manage AP&S budgets and fulfill commitments punctually and within financial limits.

• Enhance team members’ sales skills, product knowledge, and in-call effectiveness.

• Adhere to AbbVie policies, legal obligations, quality and business standards, and EHS programs, regulations, and standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, particularly in Primary Care sales.

• Immediate or current experience leading a Primary Care sales team is a necessity.

• Functional knowledge of in-field pharmaceutical roles outside of sales.

• Proven experience in managing, coaching, and developing personnel in Primary Care roles.

• Experience with hybrid Primary Care roles is a plus.

• Ability to adapt leadership style as needed.

• Proficient computer skills, including the use of spreadsheets and graphics software.

• Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience, and ABPI qualified.

• Understanding of the operational implementation of the ABPI Code of Practice.

• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental performance through EHS compliance.
