Primary Care Physician, FMIM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional preventative, acute, and chronic care in a completely remote, virtual environment.

• Enhance remote healthcare by ensuring compassionate and meaningful interactions with patients.

• Oversee a dedicated patient panel as their primary care physician.

• Refer patients to specialists or acute care services when clinically necessary.

• Engage in population health initiatives for risk-attributed patients (AWVs, care gaps, transitions of care, risk capture).

• Assist patients immediately after discharge to improve their understanding of treatment plans and decrease hospital readmissions.

• Engage in continuous self-assessment to guarantee compliance with clinical guidelines and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-Certified in Family or Internal Medicine.

• Active licensure in FL, MA, NJ, OR, TX, WI, MN, or IA, and/or possess an active IMLC compact license.

• A minimum of 3 years of post-residency experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in an in-person primary care environment.

• Prior experience with virtual visits is required.

• Must have experience with EPIC EMR.

• Clean background and medical malpractice history.

• Willing to commit to 40 hours per week, including 36 clinical hours.

• Availability to work 3x12-hour shifts per week; Saturday and Sunday, plus one additional weekday with flexible starting hours (i.e., 7:00 am-9:00 am).

• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.

• Strong desire to cultivate long-term relationships with patients and manage chronic care conditions.

• Comfort in managing acute conditions in a virtual setting.

• Significant experience managing 3 or more cases per hour.

• Enthusiasm for learning about and applying innovative technology to enhance efficiency and clinical outcomes.
