Primary Care Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the CEO and executive leadership team on the research, planning, and development of primary care services in North Carolina.

• Offer physician-level clinical expertise to facilitate the design of primary care service models, workflows, and quality standards.

• Provide guidance on clinical governance, patient care standards, documentation, and appropriate oversight of advanced practice providers, adhering to state law.

• Engage in discussions with leadership and professional advisors concerning the structure and compliant operation of the relevant professional entity.

• Keep abreast of advancements in primary care, telehealth, professional entity requirements, and healthcare regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active, unrestricted physician license in North Carolina.

• Qualifications to fulfill the clinical leadership role and serve within the applicable professional entity in accordance with state law.

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.

• Relevant clinical experience in primary care is essential.

• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is preferred.

• Experience in collaboration with advanced practice providers, telehealth, healthcare consulting, or program development is advantageous.
