Primary Care Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the CEO and executive leadership team on the research, planning, and enhancement of primary care services in Connecticut.

• Offer physician-level clinical expertise to aid in the creation of primary care service models, workflows, and quality standards.

• Provide guidance on clinical governance, patient care standards, documentation, and appropriate physician supervision of advanced practice providers, as permitted by state law.

• Engage in discussions with leadership and professional advisors regarding the framework and compliant functioning of the relevant professional entity.

• Remain updated on advancements in primary care, telehealth, professional entity regulations, and healthcare legislation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active, unrestricted physician license in Connecticut.

• Credentials to fulfill the role within the applicable professional entity and clinical leadership position as per state regulations.

• MD or DO degree from a recognized medical institution.

• Relevant clinical experience in primary care settings.

• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is preferred.

• Experience in collaboration with advanced practice providers, telehealth, healthcare consulting, or program development is advantageous.
