This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Manage assigned accounts and opportunities within the designated territory.
• Formulate and implement strategic account plans that align with both regional and national goals.
• Recognize growth opportunities within current clients and targeted prospects.
• Maintain a strong understanding of customer requirements, competitive landscapes, and market trends.
• Conduct business reviews and adapt strategies as necessary.
• Establish relationships with distribution partners and sales representatives.
• Develop collaborative territory and account growth strategies.
• Facilitate joint customer visits and business reviews.
• Educate distributor personnel about portfolio offerings and how they differentiate from competitors.
• Identify, cultivate, and convert new customer opportunities.
• Maintain a pipeline of opportunities for new business and account growth.
• Drive competitive conversions and enhance strategic account penetration.
• Present clinical, operational, and financial value propositions.
• Conduct workflow assessments and propose solutions.
• Work collaboratively across functions to create customer-specific solutions.
• Build relationships with healthcare decision-makers and influencers.
• Enhance customer satisfaction, retention, utilization, adoption, and expansion of Point of Care solutions.
• Maintain records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools.
• Engage in business reviews, forecasting discussions, and account planning.
• Adhere to ethical sales practices, regulatory compliance, and transparency with customers.
• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience in a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in clinical diagnostic sales, corporate accounts, hospital purchasing organizations, or complex sales.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new business, expanding accounts, and retaining customers.
• Experience collaborating with healthcare distribution partners and indirect sales channels.
• Familiarity with strategic sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman, Challenger, SPIN, or Solution Selling.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to operate independently in a field-based role requiring regional travel.
• Must reside within the assigned geographical territory.
• Must comply with applicable client Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screenings, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training.
• Must be able to handle controlled technology in accordance with U.S. export control laws.
