This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Manage designated accounts and opportunities within the designated territory.
• Formulate and implement strategic account plans that align with both regional and national objectives.
• Recognize growth prospects among current customers and targeted prospects.
• Establish relationships with distribution partners and sales representatives.
• Create collaborative territory and account growth strategies.
• Conduct joint visits to customers and perform business reviews.
• Educate distributor personnel regarding portfolio offerings and competitive advantages.
• Identify, nurture, and convert new customer opportunities.
• Maintain an opportunity funnel for acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Propel competitive conversions and penetrate strategic accounts.
• Present clinical, operational, and financial value propositions.
• Conduct assessments of workflows and propose solutions to enhance clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
• Collaborate across functions to create customer-specific solutions.
• Cultivate relationships with healthcare decision-makers and influencers.
• Enhance customer satisfaction, retention, utilization, adoption, and expansion of Point of Care solutions.
• Safeguard and grow the existing client base and implement retention strategies.
• Keep precise records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools.
• Engage in business reviews, forecasting discussions, and account planning sessions.
• Adhere to ethical sales practices, regulatory compliance, and transparency with customers.
• Bachelor’s degree or over 10 years of applicable sales experience in a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in clinical diagnostic sales, corporate accounts, hospital purchasing organizations, or complex sales.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new business, expanding accounts, and retaining customers.
• Experience collaborating with healthcare distribution partners and indirect sales channels.
• Familiarity with strategic sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman, Challenger, SPIN, or Solution Selling.
• Outstanding presentation, negotiation, communication, and influencing capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role with regional travel requirements.
• Must reside within the specified geographic territory.
• Must fulfill relevant client Vendor Credentialing requirements.
• May require valid identification, driver’s license, SSN, criminal background checks, drug screenings, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training depending on client specifications.
