Pricing Sales Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the VP to develop and implement a go-to-market strategy centered around pricing and analytics.

• Facilitate consultative discussions with actuarial and underwriting teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of their: Pricing models, Rating algorithms, Workflow challenges, Modernization goals.

• Convert the needs of actuarial and underwriting teams into well-defined solution proposals utilizing PricingCenter.

• Partner with internal account teams to uncover opportunities for modernization or enhancement of pricing programs within current clients.

• Work alongside inside sales and marketing to establish a pipeline of pricing-centric opportunities with new carriers.

• Steer stakeholders through the assessment of PricingCenter—from initial discussions to solution design and commercial agreements.

• Represent Guidewire at industry events focused on actuarial, analytics, and underwriting.

• Serve as a subject-matter link between carriers and internal product/engineering teams to guide the ongoing development of PricingCenter.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience collaborating with actuarial, pricing, or underwriting teams.

• In-depth knowledge of P&C insurance pricing, underwriting processes, rating engines, and actuarial methodologies.

• Proven success in partnering with leadership in actuarial and underwriting (Chief Actuary, Head of Pricing, CUO, etc.).

• Familiarity with enterprise software evaluation processes and lengthy, multi-stakeholder decision-making cycles (6–18 months).

• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and communication skills—the capability to translate actuarial concepts into business and technological value.

• Demonstrated ability to take charge and lead intricate engagements.

• Willingness to travel around 50% of the time.

• Experience in B2B Enterprise Sales is a significant advantage.
