Pricing and Underwriting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Oversee and improve sales support systems for potential clients

• Assess risk associated with pricing metrics and the value generated from client relationships

• Analyze and proactively identify opportunities for enhancing rebate, pricing, and discount performance, and support implementation

• Investigate both external and internal pricing trends and forecasts to aid in shaping the overall pricing strategy

• Maintain databases that inform business decisions and facilitate responses to inquiries from clients or potential clients

• Monitor and report on the performance impacts of relevant programs (e.g., Savings Connect) for clients

• Track forecasted results against actual outcomes

• Discover opportunities for client savings or enhancements to programs

• Conduct analyses as requested by internal and external stakeholders, or to support defined business objectives

• Gain familiarity with contractual terms and performance metrics to assist in developing program strategies, pricing decisions, and contract language

• Execute quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy of pricing and processes

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for fields such as business, economics, mathematics, or actuarial science.

• Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Relevant experience in business, statistics, and analytical programs is preferred.

• Experience in PBM, managed care, business, statistics, or analytical programs is an advantage.

• Engage in, comply with, and support the objectives of the compliance program.

• Demonstrated ability to consistently interact collaboratively and respectfully with colleagues.
