This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Accountable for developing a comprehensive perspective of the commercial funnel—from pipeline progression to wins, revenue, and receipts—transforming this visibility into actionable insights that enhance performance.
• Functions at the confluence of strategy and execution, constructing scalable dashboards and data infrastructure while influencing how the commercial division prioritizes, measures, and drives growth.
• Plans, organizes, manages, develops, and assesses the activities of assigned personnel.
• Evaluates how sales activities impact financial results, including pipeline advancement and conversion rates, translating wins/bookings into revenue realization, and identifying revenue growth and margin drivers.
• Offers insights into customer behavior, segmentation, pricing, and service mix to steer commercial focus.
• Recognizes performance deficiencies, growth prospects, and execution risks, providing clear recommendations to leadership.
• Establishes a scalable reporting framework that aids both leadership decision-making and frontline execution; develops executive dashboards.
• Standardizes KPIs and reporting governance throughout the commercial funnel.
• Enhances data infrastructure, quality, pipeline hygiene, and integration across CRM, ERP, and billing/receipt systems.
• Creates an analytical approach and formulates a roadmap to boost visibility in receipts and revenue.
• Assists in territory planning, segmentation, and resource allocation decisions.
• Aligns commercial analytics with finance planning, budgeting, and revenue processes; increases forecasting accuracy through improved pipeline visibility and leading indicators.
• Collaborates with Commercial, Finance, Operations, and IT to synchronize data, priorities, and execution.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, analytics, or a closely related discipline.
• Eight (8) years of experience in commercial analytics, with five (5) years in a managerial capacity.
• Proficient in managing and leading teams.
• Expertise in commercial analytics, business intelligence, sales performance metrics, and revenue optimization techniques.
• Understanding of sales operations, customer lifecycle management, pricing strategies, forecasting, pipeline management, and market analysis.
• Familiarity with data analytics methodologies, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and performance measurement.
• General knowledge of CRM platforms, sales reporting systems, and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar analytics platforms.
