This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the strategic leader for all Channel participants, directing the pricing and strategy for key inline buy and bill brands.
• Formulate Gross and Net pricing for products, providing methods to manage account pricing, specific contracts, value propositions, and outcomes-based strategies.
• Spearhead the negotiation and execution of customer contract/pricing programs for designated accounts in partnership with Trade teams.
• Develop business solutions that fulfill both external customer and Novartis business requirements by collaborating cross-functionally with internal executive management.
• Advocate for the development and cross-functional collaboration to achieve optimal US Novartis pricing, contracting portfolio, and IPST strategies for assigned in-line, launch, and pipeline products.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Market Access, Pharmacy, Consulting, or Payer environments.
• Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of US healthcare economics and the factors influencing pharmaceutical demand, including pricing and reimbursement.
• Substantial experience in healthcare contracting and a critical understanding of PBM, National and Regional Health Plan operations, Medicare Part D, Medicare Part B, and the evolving market landscape.
• Proven capability to navigate complex customer environments and foster relationships with all key stakeholders, including executive management.
• Demonstrated skills in prioritization, organization, and analysis, alongside the ability to devise solutions for intricate processes and procedures.
• Inspirational leader with extensive leadership experience and a high degree of self-awareness and curiosity, focused on empowering others.
• Profound knowledge of patient access, launch excellence, marketing, and business processes with the ability to analyze complex business challenges.
