This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Create and improve pricing analytics using SAS, Python, Excel, and Tableau concerning anticipated portfolio returns, risk concentration, and CRT performance.
• Regularly present insights to the Senior Leadership Team to impact pricing strategies.
• Design customized MI rate card pricing by leveraging competitive intelligence, return thresholds, and preferred portfolio composition to optimize Radian's capital deployment.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses related to mortgage insurance pricing, CRT portfolio evaluation, and competitive assessments.
• Competitive Position Analytics: Execute analyses to modify pricing as necessary to sustain the targeted market share.
• Gather and maintain MI pricing intelligence through the establishment of databases.
• Assist in researching and integrating market data and variables to improve pricing and financial projections.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required or identified.
• Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or Relevant Work Experience
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience
• Preferred analytical experience in the mortgage banking, reinsurance, or financial services sectors.
• Proficient in Python, SAS, SQL, Snowflake, and AWS or a comparable programming language.
• Previous experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of pricing, valuation, and ROC concepts and methodologies.
• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Ability to conduct analyses and offer conclusions and recommendations.
• Experience in handling large datasets.
• Strong attention to detail, demonstrated through effective time management, organizational skills, and analytical problem-solving.
• High aptitude for analytics; proven ability to extract valuable insights from extensive financial data.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to quickly absorb information.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with others.
• Intellectually curious; willing to challenge conventional methods and develop innovative solutions to existing challenges.
• Keen interest in learning and applying advanced analytical and statistical techniques.
• Proven track record of success and continuous knowledge expansion.
• Competitive Compensation: Expected base salary ranging from $80,000 to $120,000 based on skills and experience.
