This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform thorough analysis of sales and items to enhance pricing strategies and profit margins.
• Regularly update and maintain the ERP database that supports pricing and cost functions.
• Collaborate with regional and branch managers to address pricing issues.
• Inform all management levels about pricing changes, including quarterly reviews and annual adjustments.
• Work alongside Regional Vice Presidents and Sales Managers to collect business intelligence.
• Create regional pricing recommendations for commodities and high-value items.
• Enhance and simplify daily operations through automation solutions.
• Share best practices and efficiency improvements with team members.
• Address pricing-related inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Assist in integrating veterans' skills within the team.
• Report directly to the Pricing Director.
• Travel periodically to coordinate with regional and branch managers.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in pricing analytics, office automation, or a similar role.
• Experience in conducting sales and item analysis for optimizing pricing and margins.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and other lookup functions, managing multiple sheets, Pivot Tables, and macros.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and database management.
• Strong skills in office automation.
• Capability to manage pricing discrepancies across regions.
• Ability to gather business intelligence alongside Regional Vice Presidents and Sales Managers.
• Clear and effective communication with all levels of management.
• Innovative problem-solving capabilities.
• A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and skill acquisition.
• Must be available, responsive, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
• Experience in strategic pricing, dynamic pricing, demand forecasting, competitive analysis, and market trend assessment is preferred.
• Preferred two years of experience in selling/pricing Tile, Hardscape, and Pool Finishes.
• Knowledge of ERP pricing and costing data is essential.
• Familiarity with project management.
• Understanding of financial principles, including profit and loss management.
• Experience in change management.
• Knowledge of construction supply and landscape distribution dynamics.
• Certifications are not required.
• Offers contingent upon background checks and drug screening, as permitted by law.
