This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Strategic Advisory: Collaborate with Jama’s executive leadership and Solutions Consulting teams to define SDD strategy, craft customer narratives, position strategic opportunities, and articulate our overall market perspective.
• Executive Customer Engagement: Spearhead senior customer advisory engagements for Jama’s most critical revenue opportunities. Transform intricate engineering environments into straightforward business cases, executive presentations, proof-of-value strategies, and quantifiable outcomes through Jama Connect.
• Market Evangelism: Act as a market-facing subject matter expert and advocate for SDD. Represent Jama through executive education, customer forums, webinars, industry events, advisory content, and thought leadership initiatives.
• AI Product Innovation Feedback Loop: Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate direct customer feedback and market trends into product requirements, particularly in refining Jama’s use of secure, controlled LLM workflows and AI agents within engineering processes.
• Cross-Functional GTM Enablement: Partner across Sales, Solutions Consulting, Marketing, Customer Success, and Professional Services to convert emerging SDD themes into consistent messaging, technical use cases, enablement, and go-to-market strategies.
• 12+ Years of Engineering/Product Experience: Substantial experience in systems engineering, software/hardware development, requirements, traceability, verification and validation (V&V), quality, compliance, or digital engineering transformation.
• Industry Domain Expertise: Profound knowledge of highly regulated or intricate engineering environments, including medical devices, automotive, aerospace and defense, semiconductor, consumer electronics, or industrial manufacturing.
• Applied SDD & AI Understanding: Proven experience implementing Specification-Driven Development in complex settings. Established ability to discuss how precise specifications serve as the pivotal source of truth essential for reliable, agentic AI-driven development.
• Customer-Facing Credibility: Recent experience utilizing engineering expertise in customer-facing advisory, executive education, strategic sales support, solution consulting, transformation leadership, or market-facing thought leadership roles.
• Executive Presence: Demonstrated success in engaging and influencing senior leaders, such as VP/SVP of Engineering, CTO, Chief Engineer, Head of Product Development, Quality, Compliance, or Digital Transformation.
• Lifecycle Architecture Insights: Strong grasp of how requirements, specifications, design choices, implementation details, validation evidence, and compliance artifacts can become disjointed throughout complex development lifecycles.
• Communication Mastery: Outstanding skills in communication, storytelling, facilitation, and consultative problem-solving across technical, executive, and commercial audiences.
