Presales Security Expert – Public Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with designated Sales Representatives to create secure platform solutions.

• Develop technical security solutions, demonstrate their effectiveness, and offer technological justifications.

• Design network, cloud, and security solutions accompanied by robust technical roadmaps.

• Identify technical opportunities to enhance pipeline growth and team success.

• Lead evaluations of proof-of-concept, conduct technical workshops, and organize events.

• Address technical RFPs efficiently.

• Present and illustrate security architectures and solutions through whiteboarding.

• Convey a persuasive vision for the industry.

• Promote communication and collaboration across various departments and teams.

• Exemplify high performance, professionalism, and integrity in all professional interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in pre-sales designing and proposing secure platform solutions.

• Practical experience in architectural administration and validating designs in both simulated and production environments.

• Capability to design comprehensive network, cloud, and security solutions along with providing technical roadmaps.

• Proficiency in Secure Networking, Secure Wireless, Private/Public Cloud, SD-WAN, SASE, Zero Trust, AI, Automation, SecOps, Operational Technology, Forensics, and incident response.

• Excellent skills in presentation, whiteboarding, communication, and writing.

• Experience in responding to technical RFPs.

• Background in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.

• Proficient in using Visio and creating Bills of Materials (BOMs).

• Knowledgeable in routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, stateful firewalling, NGFW, firewall policies, identity-based policies, NAT, IPS, anti-malware, botnet, application control, DDoS, web filtering, and SDN.

• Understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, supernetting, subnetting, DNS, HTTP, SMTP, RADIUS, LDAP, Active Directory, PKI, and IKE.

• Required experience with encryption and authentication technologies.

• Strong technical troubleshooting skills are desirable.

• Previous experience with vendors or resellers is advantageous.

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English.

• Willingness to travel; primarily within the designated region with occasional trips to other regions.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
