
Premium Audit Expert β Part-Time Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Assist in defining and testing a Premium Audit applet within our Party Portal.
β’ Map the complete workflow for workers' compensation and general liability premium audits.
β’ Identify critical friction points with the highest potential for improvement.
β’ Review product specifications, mockups, and pricing strategies.
β’ Translate NCCI class code logic and payroll inclusion guidelines.
β’ Aid in assessing partnership opportunities with carriers and third-party administrators (TPAs).
β’ Occasionally participate in customer discovery calls with brokers, insured parties, or carrier representatives.
β’ Highlight potential product opportunities related to audit disputes, premium recovery, and exposure reporting.
β’ Over 7 years of experience in commercial premium auditing, preferably a combination of carrier-side and third-party audit firm experience.
β’ Extensive knowledge of NCCI regulations, state-specific workers' compensation variations, and the general liability audit basis (payroll, sales, subcontractor costs, units).
β’ Strong viewpoints on the factors that cause subcontractor cost exclusions to remain valid or to be reclassified.
β’ A genuine interest in how software, artificial intelligence, and data networks can transform this work.
β’ Bonus: prior experience at a PAAS, ISO, an insurtech, a major carrier audit division, or a national TPA.
β’ Bonus: existing connections with broker risk management practices or leadership in carrier audits.
β’ Flexible work arrangements.
β’ 1099 contractor status, with a signed consulting agreement, including standard intellectual property and confidentiality terms.
