This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Assist in defining and testing a Premium Audit applet on our Party Portal.
β’ Map the comprehensive workflow for workers' compensation and general liability premium audits.
β’ Identify key friction points with the highest potential for impact.
β’ Review product specifications, mockups, and pricing structures.
β’ Interpret NCCI class code logic and payroll inclusion criteria.
β’ Aid in assessing partnership opportunities with carriers and TPAs.
β’ Occasionally participate in customer discovery calls with brokers, insured parties, or carrier representatives.
β’ Highlight related product opportunities in areas such as audit disputes, premium recovery, and exposure reporting.
β’ A minimum of 7 years in commercial premium auditing, ideally combining experience from both carrier-side and third-party audit firms.
β’ Extensive knowledge of NCCI regulations, state-specific workers' compensation variations, and general liability audit foundations (payroll, sales, subcontract costs, units).
β’ Strong insights on factors that influence whether subcontractor cost exclusions remain valid or are reclassified.
β’ A genuine interest in how software, AI, and data networks can transform this field.
β’ Bonus: Previous experience with PAAS, ISO, an insurtech company, a major carrier audit division, or a national TPA.
β’ Bonus: Established connections with broker risk management teams or leadership in carrier audits.
