Pre-Sales Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Territory Managers to identify, assess, and advance sales opportunities until closure.

• Assist enterprise clients by crafting networking solutions that meet both business and technical needs.

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions, customer presentations, demonstrations, and solution workshops.

• Create and document solution architectures, technical recommendations, and client proposals.

• Execute Proof of Concepts (POCs), demonstrations, and solution validations to highlight HPE Networking capabilities.

• Position HPE Networking solutions against competing products while articulating key technical differentiators.

• Support RFP submissions, technical assessments, and intricate customer engagements.

• Partner with channel partners, resellers, and internal teams to enhance customer success and drive revenue growth.

• Establish trusted advisor relationships with customers across technical and business sectors.

• Keep abreast of competitive technologies, industry trends, and new networking solutions.

• Engage in account planning activities and provide technical expertise throughout the sales process.

• Remain updated on HPE Networking technologies, including Aruba and Juniper solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

• Over 5 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, systems engineering, network architecture, technical consulting, or similar networking roles.

• Experience in supporting enterprise sales teams in customer-facing scenarios.

• Familiarity with designing, implementing, or supporting enterprise networking solutions.

• Strong foundation in routing, switching, wireless, and network security technologies.

• Proven experience in participating in technical sales engagements, demonstrations, workshops, and customer presentations.

• Preferred experience working with channel partners, VARs, or systems integrators.

• Industry certifications such as Aruba, HPE, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or equivalent are highly desirable.
