This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop a strong understanding of the FME Platform and its practical applications.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to grasp customer requirements and assist in pre-sales initiatives.
• Engage in scoping discussions with potential clients.
• Prepare and present product demonstrations and proof of concepts customized to address customer challenges.
• Address technical inquiries from potential customers.
• Facilitate technical conversations with both prospective and current clients.
• Create and maintain technical documentation on the FME Knowledge Base.
• Contribute to the FME Community.
• Assist in producing content and resources for prospective and new clients.
• Participate in knowledge sharing via internal documentation, blog posts, and webinars.
• Take part in beta testing of new FME versions, providing customer perspectives for product feedback.
• Share customer insights with internal teams to influence product development and enhance customer experience.
• Work alongside Customer Success and Customer Education teams to enhance onboarding processes.
• Diploma, degree, or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as GIS, data analytics, system integration, or business analysis.
• Up to 2 years of experience with technical products in a customer-facing, analytical, project-based, support, or similar role.
• Familiarity with the FME Platform or similar data integration tools is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent and approachable communication abilities.
• Interest in enhancing presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a willingness to adopt new methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Comfortable with asking questions and learning from constructive feedback.
• Adaptable and open to change.
• Familiarity with AI tools and an enthusiasm for utilizing them to assist with troubleshooting, documentation, or workflows.
• Nice to Have: Experience with GIS, databases, business systems, or data integration tools.
• Background in customer-facing roles such as technical support or professional services.
• Experience in creating technical content or documentation.
