This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of technical discovery and solution development with key enterprise clients: perform in-depth analyses of customer environments, operational workflows, and integration needs for humanoid robotics applications (e.g., logistics, manufacturing, material handling).

• Serve as the technical authority during pre-sales activities: facilitate workshops, system demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and technical assessments to expedite deal closure.

• Design and articulate integration architectures: create scalable deployment models, detailing hardware/software interfaces, perception and manipulation requirements, fleet management integration, and safety considerations.

• Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to convert customer use cases, feature requests, and operational constraints into actionable insights that guide product roadmap decisions.

• Lead the development of technical solution proposals for RFPs and large-scale opportunities, ensuring high-quality responses covering system capabilities (performance, compliance, data handling, reliability).

• Estimate technical effort for customizations, third-party integrations, and pilot programs, coordinating with Delivery and Field Engineering on implementation resource allocation.

• Act as a technical mentor to junior Solutions Engineers and Sales team members, enhancing the technical expertise within the broader commercial organization.

• Ensure a smooth post-sales transition by communicating customer-specific requirements, success criteria, and integration context to project execution teams.

• Champion customer success: assist existing accounts with the adoption of new platform features, system upgrades, and expansion opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Field Applications Engineer, or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally within robotics, autonomous systems, industrial automation, or enterprise hardware/software integration.

• A strong technical background, preferably in robotics concepts.

• Experience in designing or supporting real-world implementations of robotics systems/industrial automation within operational settings (e.g., warehouses, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers).

• Proven capability to communicate complex technical solutions in clear, persuasive terms to both technical and non-technical audiences — complemented by strong skills in architecture diagrams, systems design, and technical storytelling.

• Demonstrated strategic thinking and commercial insight — ability to create solutions that marry technical rigor with business feasibility and operational scalability.

• Hands-on experience in constructing and delivering proof-of-concept projects, demonstrations, or pilot programs for innovative technology.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, ambiguous environment typical of emerging technologies.

• Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, etc.).

• Willingness to travel (~40–60%) for client meetings, deployments, and trade shows.

• Authorization to work in the USA.
