This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with SI, ISV, and hyperscaler partners in your area to help them derive significant value from the Cloudera platform, supported by senior PSEs during your onboarding period.
• Build Technical Artifacts: Create and present demos, PoCs, and prototypes—engaging in hands-on technical tasks where your coding expertise is a daily asset.
• Master the Pre-Sales Craft: Acquire essential pre-sales skills, including messaging, whiteboarding, objection handling, and partner enablement.
• Architect the "Better Together" Story: Assist in developing joint solution assets, first-call presentations, and collaborative integration demonstrations.
• Enable the Ecosystem: Contribute to partner enablement materials such as labs, walkthroughs, and technical documentation, evolving into a trusted technical resource.
• Advocate Globally: Engage in competitive and architectural discussions, ultimately becoming the Voice of the Partner within Cloudera and representing Cloudera to the Partner.
• Hands-on Programming Background (Required): You have experience writing and reading real code comfortably (whether through formal education, a bootcamp, or self-directed projects).
• Active Pivot into Pre-Sales: You have recognized your interest in the business and communication aspects of technology, and you are intentionally pursuing a transition into a client-facing pre-sales role.
• Mid-Career Experience: Approximately 3-6 years of professional experience.
• Growth Mindset: Highly receptive to coaching, actively seek feedback, adapt swiftly, and are eager to learn the sales process from the ground up.
• Drive & Work Ethic: A self-motivated individual driven by targets, willing to exceed expectations, who thrives in a dynamic environment.
