This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Upwind's cloud security offerings and services.
• Work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs and customize technical solutions accordingly.
• Offer technical support and guidance throughout the sales process, from demonstrations to final agreements.
• Lead and oversee the execution of Proof of Concept (POC) engagements to showcase the effectiveness of our solutions.
• Serve as a bridge between the sales and product development teams, providing valuable feedback based on customer interactions.
• Demonstrated experience as a Sales/Solutions Engineer or in a comparable technical pre-sales position within the cloud security sector.
• Extensive understanding of cloud computing, cybersecurity principles, and industry best practices.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities, capable of explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Competence to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and containerization is advantageous.
