• Collaborate with Account Executives throughout the sales process; steer the technical discussions from the initial call to the closing stage.
• Facilitate discovery sessions with both operational and technical stakeholders.
• Analyze and document customer workflows utilizing the Duvo platform.
• Assess the value; create compelling and justifiable business cases.
• Outline pilot scopes; demonstrate Duvo using real customer scenarios.
• Develop Proofs of Concept and prototypes as necessary.
• Manage technical submissions for RFPs and security questionnaires.
• Challenge inadequate scope when necessary.
• Ensure a seamless handover to Field Development Engineers.
• Relay insights from the field back to Product, Marketing, and Sales teams.
• Over 5 years of experience in technical, customer-facing positions where you have influenced and secured actual deals.
• Typically, backgrounds in pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions engineering at AI-focused or automation companies; experience in forward-deployed or applied AI engineering; technical consulting on AI or automation projects; product or operations roles pitching AI-driven solutions to enterprise clients.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) is highly advantageous.
• Proficient with contemporary AI tools: Large Language Models (LLMs), agent frameworks, prompt engineering, evaluations, Model Control Panel (MCP), and retrieval systems.
• Strong capability in systems thinking.
• Comfortable working in code-related environments: SQL, Python or JavaScript scripting, APIs, JSON, webhooks, and light data manipulation.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and enterprise technology stacks is a plus.
• Possess a strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent communicator and presenter; fluent in English, with proficiency in German or other European languages being a significant asset.
