• Collaborate with the sales team to create bid responses, working alongside the product, development, and portfolio teams as necessary.
• Possess the capability to configure, build, and showcase NEC Safety products.
• Interpret demonstration scenarios provided by customers to design product configurations tailored for demonstration purposes.
• Demonstrate both an overview and detailed functionality of the NEC Safety portfolio in support of new business initiatives and account management presentations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for product-related inquiries during the sales process.
• Assist the sales team in following up with prospects after demonstrations.
• Represent NEC's capabilities both internally and externally.
• Practical presales experience or skills in presentation techniques acquired in the private sector, particularly with public sector clients or within public sector organizations.
• Knowledge or interest in the Safety business sector.
• Hands-on experience in areas such as Control Rooms, Operational Policing, Evidence Management/Data Analytics, or Managed Services.
• Strong understanding and experience in the Public Safety market.
• Ensure thorough knowledge of both existing and emerging customer needs.
• Government security clearance is required.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Government & Safety landscape and its driving factors.
• Solid grasp of current market competition.
• Ability to effectively engage with and collect information from senior managers and high-level officers.
• Recognize the importance of customer retention to achieve optimal customer satisfaction.
• Adaptability to various levels of interaction based on the demonstration context.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, complex demonstrations within tight deadlines.
• Capability to assist other teams in preparing written proposals for delivery.
• Support the sales team in post-demonstration follow-ups with prospects.
• Act as an ambassador for NEC's capabilities, both internally and externally.
