Pre-Production Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create mockups, vectorize logos, and develop presentation decks from the initial concept to final delivery.

• Prepare customer art proofs following work-order specifications.

• Transform low-resolution bitmap images into high-quality vector graphics.

• Modify artwork for precise printing in accordance with customer requests and templates.

• Primarily focus on expedited orders after completing initial training, address art-related inquiries, and assist in managing urgent requests.

• Occasionally handle customer calls, except during non-US hours.

• Acquire knowledge of the company's product offerings, imprint-area options, and printing method constraints.

• Foster professional relationships with team members, various departments, and clients.

• Maintain open communication with supervisors and team members.

• Provide assistance to fellow production artists by answering their queries.

• Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by the Art Manager and Supervisor.

• Engage in ongoing learning, assessment, and implementation of innovative art and design techniques.

• Collaborate with and guide outsourced art teams.

• Contribute to projects either independently or as part of a team.

• A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design abilities and creativity across various media.

• Capability to both give and embrace constructive feedback.

• Extensive experience and a proven history in artwork design and finalization, with meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficient time management skills with the ability to adhere to deadlines.

• Capacity to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related discipline.

• 2-3 years of demonstrated experience as a Graphic Designer, Production Artist, or in a similar role.

• Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.

• Willingness to work overnight or graveyard shifts in Philippine time or during US operating hours.

• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, and InDesign.

• Solid knowledge of file formats, image optimization methods, and color management principles.

• Experience in adjusting artwork for printing across different media.

• Familiarity with the embroidery process and .dst files is an advantage.
