Pre Approval Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Act as a bridge between the organization's internal teams and external clients.

• Manage and engage directly in the loan process from initiation to completion.

• Provide support to Loan Officers and Loan Processors regarding loan eligibility and lending guidelines.

• Evaluate and interpret complex income documentation to calculate qualifying income.

• Assist in the training of sales or processing personnel.

• Communicate with borrowers regarding loan programs, associated costs, and necessary loan documents.

• Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and ensure their delivery to borrowers.

• Confirm that the loan structure offers the most beneficial program for the borrower's financial situation.

• Examine files for any missing documentation required for approval.

• Discuss loan programs and costs with borrowers when licensed to do so.

• Pre-underwrite loan components to facilitate approval.

• Enter disclosure feeds and tailor loans to meet borrower requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or a relevant combination of education and experience.

• 3–5 years of experience in residential mortgage processing.

• Familiarity with Encompass LOS is preferred.

• Previous underwriting experience is advantageous.

• Understanding of RESPA guidelines and mortgage and consumer regulations.

• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Outstanding prioritization and time management abilities.

• Proficient in DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows.

• A license is required to discuss loan programs and costs with borrowers.
