PR Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Strategically and operationally manage clients across diverse industries, typically as part of a team of two to three members.

• Serve as a strategic partner to C-level executives, heads of communications, and in-house public relations managers.

• Create innovative and editorially compelling public relations narratives.

• Independently pitch PR stories to journalists.

• Leverage the internal AI stack for research, pitch preparation, and topic discovery.

• Operate with defined KPIs and enhance success through daily media engagement and strong client support.

• Establish and nurture dependable relationships with journalists at leading media outlets throughout the DACH region and Europe.

• Conduct targeted phone pitches to pertinent journalists across a wide range of media.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical public relations experience in either agency or in-house settings.

• Demonstrated placements in prominent German media outlets.

• Experience in both strategic and operational client management.

• Capability to distill complex subjects into concise, journalistically impactful narratives.

• Well-established network of journalist contacts.

• Willingness to take initiative while fostering team collaboration.

• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) or artificial intelligence workflows.

• Proficient in German at C2 level.

• Strong professional communication skills in English.

• Must reside in Germany.
