Power Land Developer – Development & Power Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily progress of powered-land opportunities from initial intake to readiness.

• Take ownership of utility applications and interconnection follow-ups for active powered-land projects, including gathering utility inputs, responding to studies, and tracking queue milestones.

• Define and manage external studies and consultant workflows necessary to confirm readiness.

• Monitor development timelines, dependencies, risk registers, site-readiness milestones, and significant budget considerations.

• Convert technical insights into clear implications for schedules, budgets, and risks, and escalate major obstacles or trade-offs to the Development & Power Project Lead.

• Collaborate with land, environmental, economic development, and community affairs leaders to ensure alignment in project advancement.

• Assist in expansion planning, infrastructure sequencing, and long-term power-risk mitigation strategies.

• Establish readiness criteria and create handoff packages for opportunities transitioning into deeper diligence or execution.

• Contribute to the development of repeatable playbooks for powered-land initiatives across various regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 6 years of experience in energy infrastructure, energy project development, site development, data center development, or similar project delivery roles.

• In-depth knowledge of utility coordination, interconnection processes, and development scheduling.

• Proven experience in managing multi-party workstreams involving developers, utilities, consultants, and agencies.

• Capacity to oversee multiple complex sites simultaneously and convert uncertainties into actionable steps.

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
